ROSE, BLOOD "WATERCOLOR" I
BLOOD, DRAWING PENCIL ON PAPER
APPROX. 18" X 23" © 2007
Blood "watercolor" rose; the first of many forays of experimental furtherance of the medium. Unlike my previous uses of blood in my artworks, the petals are not made up of a single pencil stroke or background shade, created entirely in blood and treated in the same manner as watercolor paint.
